A The Emc2Data Gift Card (“Card”) is not a credit card - it is a
non-expiring, prepaid gift card that has a set dollar value . It can be
used to purchase merchandise and services from Emc2Data at our website or
by phone as indicated on the materials accompanying the Gift Card. The Gift
Card is not valid for credit payments owed to Emc2Data Financial Services.
The Gift Card cannot be redeemed at any third-party retail locations. The
total dollar amount of purchases made with the Gift Card will be
automatically deducted from the value of the Gift Card. Once the amount
available on the Gift Card has been exhausted, any future transactions will
be declined. If the purchase amount is greater than the remaining Gift Card
balance you will be given an option to add an additional form of payment.
Please read the question below on "combining forms of payment " to make a
purchase that exceeds the funds available on the Gift Card.
Q Is the Emc2Data Gift
Card a credit card?
A No, the Emc2Data Gift Card is a prepaid gift card that has a set dollar
value. The Emc2Data Gift Card is not a credit card and cannot be used as
one.
Q Where can the
Emc2Data Gift Card be used?
A The Gift Card may only be redeemed in the 50 United States and the
District of Columbia to purchase merchandise or services at Emc2Data online
or phone 1-1-858-524-9908.
Q Where is the
Emc2Data Gift Card not valid?
A The Gift Card is not accepted for Emc2Data Financial Services payments
(including Emc2Data Preferred Accounts, Emc2Data Account) and cannot be
used to purchase other Emc2Data Gift Cards or used at any 3rd party,
non-Emc2Data establishments.
Q Does the
Emc2Data Gift Card have an expiration date?
A The funds on Emc2Data Gift Cards issued to you do not expire. Please note
that while Emc2Data Gift Card funds do not expire, Promotional Gift Cards
given by Emc2Data or through its partners for free, including cards given
“free with purchase,” or otherwise are subject to an expiration date. More
information on Promotional Gift Card terms and conditions can be found at
Emc2Data.com/giftcard/promoterms. To determine which card you have please
reference the back of the card.
Q What if the
Emc2Data Gift Card is lost or stolen?
A You should safeguard the Gift Card from unauthorized use. Except where
required by applicable law, Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash or
replaced if lost or stolen, and only then after notifying Emc2Data Customer
Care at 1-1-858-524-9908, hours: Monday – Friday, 9AM to 6PM CT only , and
providing proof of purchase, Gift Card number, and 4-digit CID number found
on the back of the card. Note: It is critical to notify Emc2Data as soon as
possible if a Gift Card is lost or stolen. Funds debited from a lost/stolen
Gift Card prior to our receipt of your notification CANNOT be replaced.
Q Can value be
added to the Emc2Data Gift Card?
A No. Once the value of the Gift Card has been depleted, the Gift Card is
no longer valid. However, we recommend that you retain your Gift Card at
least until you are sure that you do not intend to return any purchased
merchandise.
Q Are there fees and service
charges?
A Gift Cards do not carry any maintenance fees or service charges.

How will the recipient know the value on their Emc2Data Gift Card?
A The Emc2Data Gift Card is a prepaid gift card that has a set dollar
value. Recipients can call our toll-free balance inquiry service at
1-1-858-524-9908, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to obtain the available
funds on the Gift Card, or check online here.
Q Do Terms and Conditions apply?
A Yes. Terms and Conditions accompany the Gift Cards we distribute. The
Terms and Conditions are also available online at
www.Emc2Data.com/giftcard/terms.
Q Where can I purchase
a Emc2Data Gift Card?
A Emc2Data Gift Cards up to $500 denominations can be purchased online at
www.Emc2Data.com/giftcards and delivered via mail or email.

Can I return a Emc2Data Gift Card at the retail store from which it was
originally purchased?
A No. Emc2Data Gift Cards cannot be returned at any retail store. Except
where required by applicable law, Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash or
replaced if lost or stolen, and only then after notifying Emc2Data Customer
Care at 1-800-624-9897, hours: Monday – Friday, 9AM to 6PM CT only, and
providing proof of purchase. Note: It is critical to notify us as soon as

Is there a charge to buy a Emc2Data Gift Card from a retail store?
A No. You will not be charged a fee to purchase Emc2Data Gift Cards from a
retail store.
Q Where can I use the
Emc2Data Gift Card?
A The Emc2Data Gift Card can be used to purchase merchandise and services
available through Emc2Data via the web or by phone as indicated on the
materials accompanying the card.
Q Can I
use a Emc2Data Gift Card to withdraw cash at an ATM?
A No, the Gift Card cannot be used to withdraw cash. Emc2Data Gift Cards
are only to be used to purchase merchandise and services from Emc2Data in
the 50 United States and in the District of Columbia.
Q Can I
use more than one Emc2Data Gift Card per purchase?
A Emc2Data can only accept a limited number of Gift Card(s) per purchase.
Multiple non-expiring Emc2Data Gift Cards can be consolidated into a single
card by calling 1-1-858-524-9908, hours: Monday – Friday, 9AM to 6PM CT only.
Please note that Emc2Data Promotional Gift Cards (Promo Cards that were not
originally purchased but were given for free, as part of a promotion, or
otherwise) may not be merged with any Emc2Data Gift Cards. Emc2Data
reserves the right to reject request for consolidation of any Cards at its
own discretion for any reason.

What if I don’t have enough pre-paid dollars on the Emc2Data Gift Card to
buy what I want? How do I combine other forms of payment?
A You can only spend the Available Funds on your Gift Card. To use your
Gift Card for a purchase that is greater than the amount on the Gift Card,
you may pay the remaining amount of your purchase with a Emc2Data Preferred
Account or any credit card accepted by Emc2Data. At this time, except for a
Emc2Data Preferred Account or such credit cards, Gift Cards may not be used
in combination with any other form of payment including, without
limitation, Emc2Data Business Credit, Emc2Data Account, or Emc2Data Lease
accounts.
Q What if the
Emc2Data Gift Card is declined?
A The Emc2Data Gift Card can be declined if there are insufficient funds
remaining on your Gift Card to cover the amount of your purchase. It is
important to keep track of your available funds to ensure that you do not
exceed the Gift Card’s value. If you want to make a purchase for more than
the available funds on your Gift Card, please follow the instructions
detailed in the question above on "combining forms of payment." If you
believe a Gift Card purchase transaction has been incorrectly declined,

What if I want to return or exchange something I purchased with the
Emc2Data Gift Card?
A We value our relationship with you and want to make sure that you're
satisfied with purchases made using your Gift Card. Return of merchandise
will be processed according to Emc2Data’s return policies. If you receive a
credit, the portion paid with your Gift Card (excluding shipping &
handling) will be allocated back to the Gift Card within 3 to 7 business
days after Emc2Data receives and processes your returned merchandise.

What if I use only a portion of the value of the Emc2Data Gift Card? What
happens to the value remaining on the Card?
A The Emc2Data Gift Card can be used until the value of the Gift Card is
depleted. The recipient can enjoy more than one purchase with the Gift Card
as long as a sufficient balance remains on the Gift Card.

What if I have a problem with a purchase made with the Emc2Data Gift Card?
A We value our relationship with you and want to make sure that you're
satisfied with purchases made using your Gift Card. Return of merchandise
will be processed according to Emc2Data’s return policies. If you receive a
credit, the portion paid with your Gift Card (excluding shipping &
handling) will be allocated back to the Gift Card within 3 to 7 business
days after Emc2Data receives and processes your returned merchandise. If
you think an error has occurred with a transaction, you should contact
Emc2Data directly.
